for the first time I attended a concert of the Tour exactly 37 years ago. I was younger I was younger all the spectators at the concert on Saturday night, they were younger: those of the Bank. But no one looked older .
Much of the audience probably went back to a gig after years and years, suddenly younger. The "boys" of the Bank, on stage, at no time have DECLARED age. Incredibles.
While we must give up the last time Rodolfo Maltese (which probably has imposed changes to the lineup), the band got in a square packed an hour and a half high level , exploring almost entirely "Darwin", with some points in the first album ("Metamorphosis", "RIP", "Trace"), the only "I do not break" (presented as an encore) from "I am born free and" spider "from" As a last supper . Nothing from other albums.
Calderoni Right on time, acrobatic Nocenzi, and this was known, but what really impressed was Frank James whose voice has lost none enamel, with age, but rather nuances found and dramatic accents that have greatly enriched the expressive capabilities. Exemplary in this sense a fantastic "750,000 years ago love."
But members said the "historic" is worth it to spend a few words about the musicians who now assist them. Tiziano punctual and resourceful friends on bass (but not exciting sounds), effective without overdoing the guitarist Philip Marchegiani and valuable with its counterpoint to Alexander Papotto clarinet and sax. All fell perfectly, however, in peculiar atmosphere of the band. A concert
other times, in the end, a proposal for compelling music out of the norm today's business (who today would never listen and enjoy complicated tracks 12 minutes?) that, as was "once", it gave space to the right virtuosity, inventiveness and creativity. All things today are not part of the music disposable "by MTV," but fans of vintage men wanted to stand exactly like this: last night as 35 years ago.
